We would like to thank all our many members who sacrificed a day off to come into Central London yesterday to support the PFEW march through Westminster. Official sources estimated the number who attended to be in excess of 35,000. This is a magnificent response from our collective membership and amply demonstrates to those who occupy Marsham and Downing Streets the mood that current exists within the Police Service. PFEW Annual conference starts next Tuesday in Bournemouth with the Home Secretary scheduled to address delegates on Wednesday morning. The Police Minister has also been invited to attend several forums throughout the 3 days.
