Geoff joined the Metropolitan Police in 1979 and has served on T, B, F and V districts mainly in uniform operational roles. He performed a wide variety of roles in all three ranks including managing reliefs, sectors, Level II public order etc. He first became a Federation Representative as an Inspector in 2000. He was elected to the IBB executive in 2005 and was elected Chairman in 2007. He leads on the policing sub-committee. General Secretary Inspector Perry Oliver
Perry joined the MPS in 1982 and was initially posted to what is now Redbridge borough. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1987 and spent the next nine years of his career policing the diverse community of Newham in East London. In 1996 Perry was promoted to Inspector and given a relief at Bethnal Green. But within a year he was selected for duty with the Territorial Support Group (TSG) North East. where he remained until his election to his current role in July 2006. Deputy General Secretary Detective Inspector Siobhan Sagar
Siobhan joined Surrey Constabulary in 1987, transferring to the Metropolitan Police in 1990. She has served in uniform and detective posts in all three ranks. She became a Federation Representative in 2008 and was elected to the IBB Executive in 2009, where she leads for the IBB on the Training and Promotion Sub Committee. Vice-Chairman Inspector Ian Morrison
Ian joined the Metropolitan Police in 1981 and was posted to K District working at West Ham and Forest Gate, where his relief Sergeant was none other than Mr Perry Oliver. In 1995 Ian was promoted to Sergeant and served for seven years in Westminster where he was elected as Federation Representative for Belgravia. In 2002 Ian moved to Havering Borough. He was promoted in 2003 and retained by the BOCU. He was elected as Federation Representative the same year and onto the IBB Executive in 2008. Inspector Paul Huitson Paul joined the Metropolitan Police in Apr 1980 and has served on L (total of 20 years) and Z districts mainly in uniform operational roles. He has performed a variety of roles in all three ranks including managing reliefs, sectors and complaints. He first became a Federation Representative as a Sergeant in 1994. He became Lambeth’s Insp rep in 2005 and was elected to the IBB executive in 2007. He has served on JEC Training and Legislation (IBB lead) Sub committees and is a Trustee to the IBB accounts.
