The Chairman & General Secretary of the Police Federation Of England & Wales, Jan Berry & John Francis have circulated an open letter to all our members in which they detail how we got to the current position in the pay dispute. They also make clear that the Federation locally and nationally is fighting for them, and provides details of future plans and how the members can get involved.

They rightly remind us all that we must direct any anger and frustration felt towards the Home Secretary who took the decision to not backdate the 2.5% pay award to 1st September.
